Default sum a range

i have the following formula

Column CA holds the Operation name
Column CB holds the Actual Fault
Column CC holds the time for each occurance

the same fault can occur on different operations

What i want to do is sum the time value for each fault by each
operation

I would use a pivot table for this. "Data"...."Pivot table and pivot chart
report"
You could put the Operation Name in the Row area, the Fault names in the
Column area and the time in the data area. you might have to play around
with it a bit but I'd think that would give you what you want.

I'd use a pivot table or else SUMPRODUCT.
