Use two workbooks:

The first workbook (MYMAC.xls) has the macro
The second workbook (MYTEMPLATE.xls) has the template (and no macros)

The macro in MYMAC opens MYTEMPLATE, changes it, and does the SaveAs on the
modified MYTEMPLATE
