numbers as text
When I type a long number which is really text like 1172532152025 into
an excel cell it displays it as 1.17253E+12. So I go format/cells/text. It still shows 1.17253E+12. Can I fix this w/o changing what I'm typing in. IE I can NOT type in '1172532152025. |

Format cells as TEXT before typing.

Format the cells as Text first. Then enter your numbers.

.... or format as number with zero decimal places.
