Excel 2007 xlsx files open as Read-Only in Excel 2003 after Compat
It appears that all spreadsheets created in Excel 2007 that are saved in the
new XML format (xlsx) are opened as Read-Only files when opened on a machine running an older version of Excel (Excel 2003) after the Office 2007 Compatibility Update has been applied to that machine. Is this a known issue? -- Tim McDonald (MCSE) |
