Default Counting based on location & dates

Hi,
I think the easiest way is to select all the data and sort it by Date then
by Location,
If you then put the cursor on the bottom right of the window and change the
function to count (by right clicking the mouse), when you select the dates
within your range excel will count if for you.
Regards H

Thanks for reading this post.

Have an Excel sheet which includes among others the following column headings;

Employee No
Employee Name
Date of employment
Location
Salary amount

How could I count the number of employees who had joined the service between
two specific dates (eg. 01 Jan 2005 and 01 Jan 2006), for each location.
