can you change the default format for a "comment" in excel?
does anyone know how to change the default format for comments; they open at
a microscopic size and font; i would like to change the default size and font so i dont have to do it on every comment on a spreadsheet. thanks t -- tbone |

Font size but not type can be changed through Appearance settings.

One way: Goto your desktop, Right click, select propertiesadvancedin the "item" box scroll down to "tool tip". select the font size and/or color you like and ok out and apply. This will also effect all your tool tip fonts, but your comment fornt will be where you want it. You will have to test this because I do not think it will effect comments already in place, but for all new ones it works.
