Default Spreadsheet Column Formatting

HWhen sending a s/s via email I lose column formatting on the receiving end.
How do I prevent format lost by locking in the settings?

Send the spreadsheet as an attachment, not in the body of the e-mail. From
what I've seen, if you send it any other way than as an attachment, you stand
the chance of the formatting becoming corrupted or changed.

Thanx for response... but I'm sending as an attachment. When the s/s is
opened the column formatting is lost. I'm going to try posting it to
SharePoint and sending a link. Hopefully the formatting will stay in tact
when you open from Sharepoint.

Thanx again,
mike J.
