I merged a picture into an excel document that was a black document with
white print. And then I did something and I don't know how I did it. It was
a black and white picture and the white part, the snow and sky,
it made them pitch black, and the trees that were up against the sky, it
looks like they're outlined in white, like there's a blacklight behind them.
It's a really neat effect but I don't know how I did it.

I believe a photo editing program, like Photoshop or Photoshop Elements, does
this by inverting the image. It basically turns the image into a negative,
so whites become dark and darks become white as you've described.
