Conditional formatting from other worksheet

I have 2 worksheets.

I want column E in Sheet 2 to look at the data from Column A in Sheet 1 and
if there are matching numbers then color the cell.

Conditional formatting is not working and neither are any of the formulas I
have tried. Any suggestions?
