Subject just about says it. I am trying to create a complex workbook that
will keep track of customers for my small business. I just need to be able to put formulas in place of the number in a cell location. f(x) being any standard Excel formula, I need D*f(x)* instead of just D*constant* if that makes any sense. Thanks! |

It sounds like you may want the INDIRECT() function?

It doesn't make too much sense to me, but maybe you're looking at formulas like
=sumif() or =countif(). Debra Dalgleish shares a lot of information: http://contextures.com/xlFunctions01.html http://contextures.com/xlFunctions04.html or maybe it's time to learn about pivottables?
