Default When referencing other Sheets

When I enter a simple formula referencing cells in other sheets the formula
reverts back to my original sheet. I want to just keep clicking on the other
sheet for more cells to add the formula. What is wrong with my excel setup?

Default When referencing other Sheets

When entering the formula after I click the "+" sign it reverts back to the
original sheet. I want to just keep clicking on my source sheet, then when I
hit enter it should go back to my formula sheet. It doesn't do that now.
Help. It's driving me nuts.
