I have a spreadsheet with 21000 rows and 6 columns that I have downloaded.
Throughout the spreadsheet there are cells in which numbers are saved as text that I need to convert to numbers in order to utilize the data. I can only figure out how to convert one cell at a time. Is there a way to do this more quickly? |

The only thing you have to watch for is that the blank cell you copy is
formatted as General, not text. Gord Dibben MS Excel MVP On Wed, 14 Mar 2007 08:04:05 -0700, NANGO wrote: Thank you that's much better than copying 1 and paste special multiply.
