Default Converting multiple numbers saved as text in excel

I have a spreadsheet with 21000 rows and 6 columns that I have downloaded.

Throughout the spreadsheet there are cells in which numbers are saved as
text that I need to convert to numbers in order to utilize the data.

I can only figure out how to convert one cell at a time. Is there a way to
do this more quickly?

Copy a blank cell select your data range right click Paste Special Add
OK

Thank you that's much better than copying 1 and paste special multiply.
Which I found after I posted my question.

The only thing you have to watch for is that the blank cell you copy is
formatted as General, not text.
