Default Comparing Data

I need to varify a subset of data back to the original database.

We have a worksheet with 800 rows of inventory items, with columns showing
Part #, Description, selling price etc).

We duplicated the worksheet and made a variety of sorts and deleted a number
of rows and columns. I would like to compare the data that is remaining back
to the orignial worksheet to ensure none of the values have changed.

Is there a way in Excel to do this?

the best way is to use track changes on the tools Menu. Make a copy of the
workbook. Turn on track changes. then copy one of the two worksheets and
paste it on the 2nd worksheet. The changes will be highlighted. Because you
deleted some rows it may be necessary to do this in multiple steps. You may
want to copy only certin rows from one worksheet to the other worksheets so
you are comparing the same data from the first worksheet to the 2nd
worksheet. You also may need to do a Paste Special and select Values Only
becaue rows were deleted.
