Default Drop-down lists

Is it possible to make more than one selection from a drop-down list? i.e. in
an employee list, selecting more than one employee.

Pretty certain that this can not be done, you can do this in a listbox however.

What do you want to do with multiple selections?

See Debra Dalgleish's site for a sample workbook that does just this.

Allows multiple selections to be placed in one cell.

DV0017 - Select Multiple Items from Dropdown List-- Select multiple items from a
dropdown list; an event macro stores selections in adjacent cell, or in same
cell. DataValMultiSelect.zip 18kb updated 22-Feb-07

Default Drop-down lists

Thank you very much for your help.

What I am trying to do is have a drop-down list where I can pick more than
one name to appear in the same cell. I was able to make up a drop-down
list, however, I can only pick one name at a time. (i.e. I made up list and
used Data Validation)

I took your advice and downloaded the templates from Debra Dalgleish's site,
and the sheet entitled "samecell" is exactly what I want to do.

I admit, however, I do not possess the knowledge necessary to understand how
they have come to that. Could you please walk me through the steps.
Best Regards,

Lynn D.
