Default sum of my formula is 0

Thanks, I had checked the formatting and when I changed to general one of my
colums changed to 3 or 4 decimals.

But, going to an empty cell did give me an idea. I tried adding 2 of my
cells and then 3 cells etc. until I got 0 again. So I knew that was a bad
cell. Deleted it and recalculated and it was fine.

Thank you.

column F may be formated as text. check <format< cell< number and select
general .

in an empty cell
=F8+F15 and see if a number shows up

I am entering a formula in a cell. (same as I have 100 times)
=SUM(F8+F15+F18+F25+F29+F31)
It keeps coming up 0.
I have tried deleting and reentering by clicking on the cells
I have tried deleting and reentering one cell at a time
I have checked to make sure all the cells are numbers with 2 decimal points.
This happened in another document recently.
Anybody know what the problem is?
