Default Suddenly unable to open Excel

Upon attempting to open Excel 2003 a worksheet titled "FLODEINS" opens with
message
"Visual Basic macro modules are now edited in the Visual Basic Editor, not
the workbook. To see your modules, click Visual Basic Editor (tools menu,
macro command). In the Project window, look in the Modules folder. Modules
are still saved in the workbook."
The message only gives the option to say "OK" and when you do Excel
completely closes out.

Any suggestions or ways to fix this?

thanks
