Default Excel 2003 can you change the header date format?

I am trying to put a header on a worksheet by using Custom Header feature
under Page Setup. But when you choose the Date it is formated as 3/7/2007
and I was wondering if it could be formatted as March 7, 2007? Or something
simular like you can do in a cell.
