Default KPI in pivot table

Hi All,

I'm using Excel 2007 and connecting to an analysis cube. In the cube i have
defined a number of KPI's which i'd like to display in an excel pivot table.

In the pivot table itself i have set up some filters and dragged on the
relevent hierarchies and members. I have also dragged on the status of the
KPI. The problem i am having is that it seems to show all entries even if the
values making up the KPI are null. This leads to a huge number of red traffic
lights attached to NULL data which is skewing my figures.

Has anyone else encountered this problem or know of a way that i can resolve
this. I'm wondering if i have to change the underlying MDX of the calculation
used in the KPI (to which i'm a complete beginner).

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Grant
