Default Protection, cutting cells

Hello

Is there anyway to stop users from being able to cut cell content, but still
be able to copy it?

I have set up a timesheet which calulates total time for the day using date
validation (with a list of times on a separate sheet), with all but the input
cells unlocked and sheet protected, and so far all works as intended. Start
and finish times can be copied/pasted which works well to quickly fill in the
sheet, however if the time is cut (eg input into wrong day), the cell it is
pasted into results in a #REF error for the adding up of hours for the day. -
Thanks heaps - Bryce
