I can't figure out how to remove the light Grey borders that show up on the
worksheet. I can add and remove my own borders, but I can't remove the borders that show up automatically. I know they don't show up when I print, but would like to remove them form the worksheet. Thanks for your help. |

This can be found under the 'View' tab in Office 2007, or under the 'View'
menu (I think) in earlier versions. Look for a tickbox labelled 'Gridlines' untick it and you're there. ToolsOptionsView in earlier than 2007 version.
Uncheck "Gridlines" If you wish to remove from just some ranges, format the cells to "white" which erases the gridlines in just that area. The default background for cells color is 'no color".
