Change the cell to locked & any cell you want the user to alter to unlocked
and then protect the sheet under the tool - protection menu -- John MOS Master Instructor Office 2000, 2002 & 2003 Please reply & rate any replies you get Ice Hockey rules (especially the Wightlink Raiders) "Pietro" wrote: Hi all, How can i disable users to edit certain cells on the sheet and to display a certain message whenever users fails to edit these cells ?? |

Seems like this is a contradiction. You want to disable users to edit certain cells but display a message if they fail to edit these cells. See help on cell locking and unlocking and Sheet Protection.
