Default Conditional Formatting

I know Conditional Formatting in the same cell as the value is entered.

Is there a possibility for, say:

If A1 = 1 then Red Font in A2, etc.

Apply your conditional format to A2

=A1=1

then set the font to red

Hi,

I don´t know whether I understood correctly...

I want red font in A2 if the cell value of A1 is 1 or x or not ""

What do I enter in the Conditional Format Box for A2?

I tried: Cell Value equals =A1=1

but nothing changes

You need to change the conditional formatting so instead of being "Cell
Value" change to "Formula"
