Default HTML Import Errors

Excel 2000
For many months now I have been regularly receiving spreadsheets as
attachments to emails then saving them on my local drive. Each time I
receive one I copy across the data worksheet into a master Workbook,
also saved on the local drive. I use this master copy for editing the
data and saving etc.

Today I have opened the master file and there is the following Popup
message:

HTML Import Errors
Problems have come up in the following areas during load:

Missing file: ...LK1\ClaimFile\sheet001.htm
Missing file: ...LK1\ClaimFile\sheet002.htm
Missing file: ...LK1\ClaimFile\sheet003.htm
Missing file: ...LK1\ClaimFile\sheet004.htm
etc

Pressing Ok opens the workbook but all the sheets are blank - all data
has disappeared?
This file has not been associated with HTML or XML?

Any ideas appreciated.
Regards,
Piri
