I have a strange question. I have a user that is asking why her columns are
showing in reverse order. The number of the rows is displayed on the RIGHT, and the far right column is A. This is Excel 2007, and it is a puzzle to me. I've apparently missed the configuration option that selects "right to left" or "left to right". So far as I know, she is not using any other language option or other setting that would make that correct. Is there a way to change it? Or better said, is there a way to make it display the way it works for everyone else? -- Thanks, Randy |

Thanks for the suggestion E10, but Excel 2007 doesn't have a tools menu item,
and there is no international tab in the Options area. Is it handled elsewhere in 2007? It doesn't even come up in the "help" area if you put in "international options" in the search area. I'm learning this version, and like the formatting and other features, but this one still has me stumped... -- Thanks, Randy "E10" wrote: Tools - Options - International Tab Then uncheck 'View Current Sheet Right to Left" "Don Guillett" wrote: I won't have 2007 until MS gives it to me 1 March but in 2002 toolsoptionsinternational. -- Don Guillett SalesAid Software "Randy Rich" wrote in message ... Nope, nothing there - at least that I can tell - that references
international options or left to right settings. Am I missing something? -- Thanks, Randy "Dave Peterson" wrote: How about... I'm embarrased, my user had her langauge set to Yiddish. It was a simple
PEBKAC error. All the talk about the 'international' settings got her thinking, and she went back to english. The text didn't change in Yiddish, so she didn't think it was an any big deal. If nothing else, it would be a good thing to remember come April fools day. All is well again. Thanks, everyone, for your feedback and help. -- Thanks, Randy "Randy Rich" wrote: I have a strange question. I have a user that is asking why her columns are showing in reverse order.
