I have set the enable autocomplete for cell values in Excel.
When I block an area and start entering text it is not recognized. The text I am entering is specified outside of the marked area and it is not picking it up. Is there a way around this or am I out of luck. Thanks. |

I believe you are probably out of luck....
AutoComplete gets its values from the contiguous cells directly above the active cell. You may want to consider a Data Validation List. See Debra Dalgleish's excellent website for more information: http://www.contextures.com/xlDataVal01.html Does that help? *********** Regards, Ron XL2002, WinXP "falcios" wrote: I have set the enable autocomplete for cell values in Excel.
