Default Protect / Block selected worksheet area .

Hi !! If you could help as to how - either the selected columns, rows or set
of cells in a worksheet need to be protected, blocked. That the user should
be able to only view the info displayed in the cells & should not be able to
make any changes to that area. Rest of the worksheet area should be editable.
regards

By default all cells in a worksheet are protected but this only becomes
active if the sheet is protected. So. Select the cells you want users to edit
and click format cells protection and remove the locked checkmark. Protect
the worksheet and your done.
