Deleting a drop-down list
I have made a few drop-down lists (combo boxes) using the "Forms" toolbar,
but now I can't delete them. I have tried selecting the combo box, but when I go to the Edit menu, "Delete" is greyed out. I have tried selecting it and hitting the "delete" and "backspace buttons", but this doesn't work. And I have also tried deleting all the cells with combo boxes in them, and even the whol column, but the top combo box still remains. Any ideas? Also, once you assign a macro to a combo box, is there a way to de-assign it? Thanks in advance :) |

Deleting a drop-down list
R Dunn
Were the combo boxes made from the control tool box or the forms tool bar? If from the forms tool bar: Hover your curser over the combo box and right click, select "cut". Combo box is gone! If from the control tool box: Goto Viewtools barsControl tool Boxdesign mode. With the curser hovering over the combo box, right click and select "cut". Combo box is gone!!! I don't have an answer to your second question. Deleting a drop-down list
I tried all 3 of your suggestions guys, but no luck :(
Thanks anyway - I think I did something funny when I inserted the first drop down box. The rest were copies of that cell, so maybe that's why I coudl delete them but not the inital one.
