Default Linked value to cell in different workbook + Relative File Reference

Would anybody be able to advise with this? I have linked a value in a
cell to the value of another cell in a different workbook (just so its
the same value). I followed the below instructions to do this...

When I open the workbook that has the linked value in it, the link
value has the file path (eg, H:\documents\test\test.xls). I have some
machines that dont have mapped drives, but require access to this file
with its linked values. Is it possible to change it to a relative
path? eg, \\Test\test.xls? I have tried this method, but it doesnt
work.

kind regards
