Please take a look at BarCodeWiz Barcode ActiveX Control.
Creating barcodes in Excel is quite simple -- you select a cell with
text and click a button to turn it into a barcode.

If you are working in a Microsoft Office application then a bar code
ActiveX control would be an excellent tool to use. The best one that
I know of is on the following web page.

Stay away from bar code fonts (or ActiveX controls that use fonts to
create the bar codes). The best bar code tools create a vector image
of all bar codes. The TALTech product comes with plenty of samples
that show how to use it in all Microsoft Office applications including
Word, Excel, Access, etc. This is a professional grade tool.
