Default Can you automaticaly save a shared file every few mintues?

Is there any option to have a shared excel spreadsheet save itself every few
minutes?

We use the file to monitor customers vehicles that are going through our
workshop so we have a spreadsheet that is shared among a few computers. The
stage that the vehicle is at in the workshop is entered onto the spreadsheet
for front of house to view but sometimes after entering data people forget to
save it.

If there is a way that I can get the spreadsheet to auto save every few
minutes and refresh itself on other people's computers it would be very
helpful!

Failing this is there any other Microsoft program that would allow this?
