Default will not save files to disc drive need administrative permission

cannot save files to CD. Fault message reads "you do not have access to the
folder D:\: see your administrator for access to this folder". I am
administrator to this computer why will it not let me save to a CD?

The nature of a CD is such that Excel can't do its save process to it. Excel first saves as
a file with an internally generated name, then deletes the original file, then renames the
first file. This doesn't work with CD drives. Save to a folder, then copy it to the CD and
write the CD.
