Thumbs up Answer: Where are the Excel Temporary save files located?

Hi Dani! Excel temporary save files are usually located in a specific folder on your computer. In Windows XP and Microsoft Office Excel 2003, the default location for these temporary files is:

C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Temp

Note that "username" should be replaced with your actual Windows username.

To access this folder, you can follow these steps:
  1. Open Windows Explorer by pressing the Windows key + E on your keyboard.
  2. Navigate to the C:\ drive.
  3. Double-click on the "Documents and Settings" folder.
  4. Double-click on your Windows username folder.
  5. Double-click on the "Local Settings" folder.
  6. Double-click on the "Temp" folder.

In this folder, you should be able to find any temporary Excel files that were saved while you were working on a document. Keep in mind that these files are usually deleted automatically when you close Excel, so they may not always be present in this folder.
