Default How to copy just the filtered data?

This Office 2007 is starting to get on my nerve. In Excel 2003 when I
filtered a worksheet and copy the data, I was able to paste just the
filtered data that I just copied to a new worksheet. With Excel 2007
when I tried to paste just the filtered data, I got everything instead
of the filtered data that I just copied. How do I just paste only the
filtered data that I just copied?

Hi

I haven't had the joy of 2007 yet, but have you tried select visible cells
only and then copying?

Select visible cells was located in View: toolbars: customise: commands:
edit. Ad it to your toolbar - its really useful.

If 2007 doesnt have it -it must be rubbish!!!

Thanks for the response. I do not see that option in version 2007.

Hi ljCharlie

I had the same problem but Woodsey provided good advice - the select
visible cells only button exists in Office 2007: At the top of the
Window, to the right of the Office buttons, there is a drop down menu.
Select "More Commands". Then in the "Customize" tab select "All
Commands" in the drop down menu, scroll down to "Select Visible Cells"
and add it. Now you will see it placed at the top of your screen.
