Default formula bar

My first time! Can anyone tell me if I have a number in a cell that ends in a
zero after the decimal point such as 234.50 what I can do to it so that it's
appearence in the formula bar is the same and not 234.5. I 'm actually doing
a mail merge and entering this amount into a word document but when I do the
merge it shows up as 234.5 instead of 234.50.
