Default EXCEL ERROR MESSAGE

When I try to hide certain columns on one of my excel worksheets I get the
error message, "cannot move objects off sheet". As far as I know the only
thing in my columns are text and some simple formulas. How do I fix this so
I can hide columns I don't want to see? My sheet is not protected, neither
are any cells on my sheet.

Remember to look for comments and merged cells.

Thanks, but I have no comments and merged cells don't seem to be the issue.
I have merged cells every three columns across the entire worsheet and most
of them I can hide. A few of the columns for some reason I cannot hide. Do
you have any other suggestions?
