Default Text in Cells

I cannot see the text that is in each cell unless I select the cell and read
its contents in the window (fx). Is there a setting that hide the text?
THanks!

The first thing I'd check is to ensure that the font of the cells is not
white.

Chip - I checked that - I discovered that when I select 'Wrap Text' it hides
my text? Any clue as to why it does that?
Thanks!

And check the formatting to make sure it's not custom ;;; (which makes it look
like the cell is blank).

And check to see if there is any format|conditional formatting that's hiding the
contents.

Do you use multiple monitors?

You may want to search google looking for posts like yours.

This found 6 hits:
http://groups.google.co.uk/groups?as...roup= *excel*

And this found some more, too:
http://groups.google.co.uk/groups?as...roup=* excel*
