Default Shared workbook can't be unshared

Hi,

I've got a workbooked that I shared to a network, and now I have it at
home to work on some of the macros and conditional formatting, but I
can't unshare the workbook - the checkbox to share it is greyed out,
so I can't unselect it. Why is that, and what can I do to unshare it?

Default Unshared greyed out - can't unshare

This is because the shared workbook is protected. Go to Tools/Protection/Uprotect shared workbook and then when you next try to unshare the workbook it will allow you to do so.
