I have an Excel worksheet with an XML imported list. The source is a web URL
that returns XML. I can choose to refresh the XML data and things work well, if new the new data (records) comes into Excel. However, I need to modify the XML source's schema after the first import takes place. After modifying the schema (on the webserver), the new fields DO NOT appear in Excel after refreshing the XML feed. It seems that the schema from the initial import is set in stone. Is there any way to force Excel to reevealuate the schema, thereby grabbing any new fields (elements), that may now exist in the source? To summarize, a refresh will show new rows but not new columns. Was I clear? Hope so, thanks for any suggestions... |
