Lookup
Hi:
I have the following two columns: Col.1 Col.2 Col.3 0 0 a 2 2 b 0 2 c 0 2 d 3 5 e 0 5 f 2 7 g 0 7 h 0 7 i Col.2 is the cumulative total of Col.1. I have the following Lookup Values for Col.2 and the Results from Col.3 should be as follows: Lookup Value Result 1 b 2 b 3 e 4 e 5 e 6 g 7 g In short, when using a vlookup function, I want the result of the first occurence of a value rather than the last occurence of the same value in a column. What would be the formula? Thanks for your help. Regards, Roger |
