Default Sum Issue Help!

I have a set of numbers both positive & negative when I use sum I get
one answer when I use sumif I get another....

-14.93
-10.56
5.66
4.56
30.56
-35.60
-3.54
-19.28
-34.79
-0.48
-19.57
17.55
77.02
-10.62
-1.66
-1.00
-15.25
0.31
-14.35
7.67

Using sum I get -38.32, but when I use sumif I get -29.20...

Can anyone explain this and give a solution on how to correct??

called USER ERROR!!!
