Default Chart help

Zsolt,

Unfortunately, you can't. You could add a row and column and put "moths" in
once cell and "INCOME" in a diagonally located cell to get this appearance.

Here's some trickery. in an extra sheet, temporarily, put MONTH in A2, and
INCOME in B1. Set the font to about twice the normal size (20 or so).
Adjust the column width and row height until it looks right. Adjust the B
column width so that it doesn't spill into column C. Also, if you want a
diagonal line between the two labels, use the Line tool in the Drawing
Toolbar to create it . Select all this stuff, A1:B2. Get rid of the
gridlines by setting the Fill Color to white (not "no fill") (Fill Color
tool). With the four cells still selected, hold Shift as you click Edit
(Menu bar). Choose Copy Picture - As shown on screen.

Now go back to your original sheet and paste into the cell (A1) where you
want the two labels. Drag a corner handle inward to make it smaller, until
it fits into one roughly one cell.

This thing is a graphic. You may want to right-click it, Format Picture,
and in the Properties tab, set it to "Move but don't size with cells."

This question was confusing for a moment because in Excel, the term "chart"
means "graph." So I was thinking about an Excel chart (graph). A worksheet
is a chart and an Excel chart is a graph to most non-Excel folks, but we
don't know that around these here parts.
