Default diagonal text alignment

I have aligned header cells to a 90-degree angle but am getting inconsistent
appearance for the text, with some lines indenting by themselves. Others
don't indent even though there are spaces in the cell. Any clues?

Thanks in advance,
Trouvera

90 degrees is vertical, not diagonal.

Sounds like some cells are formatted for indent and others aren't.

Select a cell you like and under FormatCellsAlignment see what the horizontal,
vertical and indent settings are.

Format the others the same.
