Default Changing number formats without rebuilding worksheet

I've got numbers formated like the following 197.9 and it should be 197,900.
I'm looking ofr a way to change the whole sheet.

You can select a block of cells, or even the entire sheet, and change the
number format of the selection all at once. Select the small square left of
the column letters and above the row numbers to select the whole sheet, go
to Format menu Cells... Number tab, select Number under Category, change
Decimal Places to zero, and check the Use 1000 Separator box.

Enter 1000 in an unused cell.

Copy that cell the selct the range of numbers to change.

EditPaste SpecialMultiplyOKEsc.

197.9 will become 197,900.
