Default E-Mail Attachment Failure - Excel 2007

Experiencing issue w/all Office 2007 apps. When electing to send email from
within the app (customized Quick Access toolbar buttons "E-Mail" or "Send to
Mail Receipient") receiving a general failure error: General mail failure.
Quit MS <App name, restart the mail system, and try again.

Anyone else run across this problem or have effective solution? Restarting
app of course does not resolve. Any help appreciated. Installation process
was upgrade of existing Office 2003 Pro to Office 2007 Ultimate.
Thanks, Bill

Ron -
Thanks - I saw this and noted no reference to Office 2007, only 2003. My
setup is same as explained in the KB w/exception of 1 additional value in the
referenced registry key:
Name: InstallCmd
Type: REG_SZ
Data: rundll32 setupapi,InstallHinfSection MSMAIL 132 msmail.inf

I may try removing entry, rebooting and seeing if any change in behaviour
after attempting to find more info on this entry.

Thanks Ron. Diags found issues w/setup & corrected. I rebooted system, no
change in failing email actions. Reran diags after reboot, no problems
found, so obviously this did not correct. I have not tried the possible
registry key removal I mentioned in earlier post, will attempt later today.
