Default How can I deactivate conditional formatting if the cell is empty?

I have a range of cells where I am using conditional formatting. I would
like to "turn off" or "deactivate" conditional formatting while the cell(s)
are empty.

I only want conditional formatting to apply where the cells are NOT null.

Thanks
