It is on a share drive and I only want certain managers viewing the information. Thanks! |

I tried that first and it still opens the workbook without a providing a
password. Do I need to lock cells or certain tabs individually then protect the workbook? You can always hide the tabs
Select first tab, hold don Ctrl key select last tab Format - Sheet - Hide When it's protected, can't unhide them. Goto Save as Tools (upper right side)General Optionsand a Save Options window will pop up. Fill it in and don't forget the password!!! Ok out and resave the document. Now it will need the password to open. Mike Rogers "Kim" wrote: How can I save a workbook so that the only way to open it is with a password.
