Get a USB thumb drive.

Or

Do both pc's have floppy disks?

or

Can you burn a copy onto a CD?

Or

Can you send an email with an attachment and read it on the other pc?

or

Can you upload the file to a network drive (or a web location) and retrieve it
using the other pc?

yes i can copy each file, individually, to a CD. Do I then transfere each
file by opening it to the new excel. and then saving it with a new name

No. Just copy them from the CD to your other computer's hard disk. DON'T
try opening Excel files from the CD.

And to add to David Biddulph's response.

After you copy all the files from the "sending" pc to the CDROM, you can copy
all the files from the CDROM to the "receiving" pc.

Make a nice folder for those newly copied files.

And most the time, when a file is copied to a CDROM drive, it's marked
ReadOnly. So after you copy all the files from the CD to the new folder, open
that folder.

Select all the files in that folder (click on the topmost and shiftclick on the
bottommost) and hit alt-enter (to show the properties dialog).

Make sure that the readonly box is empty.

And click ok.

========
One nice thing about using the CDROM is that you now have a backup of your
important files.

(If you used a USB drive, one nice thing is that you don't have to do the
readonly step.)

There is software and hardware available for this kind of thing.

The last time I did something like this was a longgggggggggg time ago.

I used a version of Laplink.
http://www.laplink.com/

In fact, you may be able to use a home network and share one of the drives. You
may want to ask in one of the newsgroups dedicated to windows if you can't find
a reference--try google first???
