Default Customize dialog box

I want to delete the picture next to the command in the Customize Dialog Box.
To make clear on what I mean by deleting THE PICTURE next to the command.

Go to the View TAB in Microsoft Excel - then select Toolbars - scroll down
to & select Customize - once it open up then click on the Command TAB

The picture is located to the left of the word (NEW, OPEN, SAVE and so on
and so forth).

That is the picture I am referring to delete.

Thanks in Advance

I will give an example for one item, the so and so forth I'll leave to you.

ToolsCustomize.

Now move your cursor up to File and leftt-click to open.

Right-click on New and you will get a list of these options.....along with
others.

Default
Text only(always)
Text only(in menus)
Image only

Make your choice and close out.

If you put it on the toolbar and open the custom stuff, click the object
then select modify, it will let you select the text or image or both or even
a custom design.

Don't worry! I will rate as soon as I find out which is helpful.

In order for me to insert it on the toolbar. What is the step I need to do
that?

What is the open the custom stuff? I am referring to what you typed.

Default Customize dialog box

When I left-click to open for some ODD reason
I am getting a box with a plus sign inside of the box.

When I right-click I am getting a message stating "What's This?"

In order for me to proceed, I need to correct whatever it is of my
left-click and right-click problems.

Do you know OR have any knowledge of what I need to do in order for me to
proceed after ToolsCustomize?

Hope

After ToolsCustomize left-click on File up on the main menu bar....not in the
customize dialog box.

Rest of instructions will become clear after you do that step.

Default Customize dialog box

I want to let you know this particular email you answered my question when I
didn't understand.

If I want to revert back in the near future. What step by step instructions
I will need to take.

I've also notice that the other pictures (Page Setup, Rows, Column and etc)
that is located (drop down list) on the main menu bar (Edit - View - Insert -
Format - Tools - Data) are missing.

I want those main menu bar list to show Image and Text but I want the File
main menu bar to show text only.

Is there a way to do this? If it isn't please let me know the "No" answer
as well.

Thanks for your help.

Hope

Some of the items do have a "picture" by default, just "text only"

When in ToolsCustomize mode and you right-click on the item in the menu bar you
will see by the tick-mark which style is used.

You will have to manually alter each menu item to the style you want.

The right-click choices are as below.

Default
Text only(always)
Text only(in menus)
Image and Text..................note my typo on this first time around.

To revert each one back to Default style, manually do so one at a time.

To change all at once back to Default style, ToolsCustomizeToolbars. Select a
Toolbar in the dialog list and "Reset" which will undo all the customizations on
whichever Toolbar you selected.
