Default Scrolling issues

When I copy or drag formulas in Excel, the cursor jumps out to the right
extremely fast. When I try to pull it back to the left, again, the cursor
jumps all the way to column A. Any suggestions?

Select the cell in question. Then hold down the shift key and the right
arrow key. It will scroll at a more manageable pace.
